I have never held a United or Continental card from Chase.
I applied the the United card (60k offer) and 1 day later for the CO Onepass Card (40k offer). I was instantly approved on the United and deferred on the OnePass. Called the application line and was told I was approved for both cards.
Experts, correct me if I'm wrong, but "approved" doesn't mean "approved with bonus", right? I thought that, if you get
either the CO or UA cards (OnePass/Explorer, respectively) after 7/19/2011, you can't get the bonus on the other. Of course, you could hold both cards, but I didn't think you'd get both bonuses.
