I was wondering which professional group (not individuals) fly the most on an annual basis (excluding all airline and military professionals). Is it the consultants (typically one destination a week I think, unless they are selling), the sales folks (or is that mostly through remote video conferencing now), investment bankers?
I am also excluding all the High Net Worth individuals who own/rent executive jets and folks in the executive branch of the government who need fly (e.g. Hilary Clinton).
And which professions give the best travel benefits to their employees (as far as easier upgrade policies, etc). Here I am considering all employees and not senior executives.
Having a more "normal" job for the last three years, I now miss my flying days with all the associated headaches (long hours, crazy flights, lots of time in the air) and benefits (free trips on miles to anywhere, status on airlines

).
