Some people it seems consider the Washington D.C area to be under siege. I just talked to my boyfriend who is scheduled to fly in late tomorrow evening for work. His company has put restrictions on all work related travel to this area because of the sniper shootings. He had to talk them into letting him continue with his scheduled trip!

I live here and it is scarey, but I am not going to hide under a rock. Have I changed my habits at all? Yes. I think about where I get gas, I make a point to be aware of my surroundings when I park my car, and when I park for shopping, etc, I run from my car to my destination. Hey, I need the exercise anyway! And the balinese people depend on tourism. People shouldn't let them be another casuality of terrorism.
