When BA launch WT+ they said it was to change the way we travel, and adding a flat bed to business was to keep up with the 21st century. What if BA were to be the only airline to introduce a 5th cabin to its A380 fleet. Suit, first, club, wt+ and wt.
Won't happen and would be a terrible business decision. If we're really honest with ourselves we'll realize that with BA's current fleet at least 50% of the reason to book F vs. CW is ego, not that the product itself justifies the price premium given how good CW's hard product is and how average the F hard product is amongst competing airlines. On AA there are legitimate reasons to take F over J, BA much less so. Therefore, if that 5th cabin were added NOBODY would ever book F; the majority would stick with club and the uber-wealthy egomaniacs would book suites. There would be a lot of wasted space.
