It also applies to other German airports but in FRA it depends on where you arrive. If your flight arrives at Z gates (former A51-65 gates) there's no need for further security. If you arrive in B or C, you'll have to clear security before your connecting flight because there's no way arrivals from the US can be segregated from pax arriving from other "unclean" countries.

Good news if Europe now recognizes US screening as adequate. (If only the reverse would also be the case).
As you will see in the article below one-stop security has been implimented in Germany (and some other countries?) but not throughout Europe.
