American Express offers a "American Express Credit Secure" monitoring service for $14.99/mo. The 1st month is currently $1 but may have been offered for free when your card was new and shiny or at some other point in the past. After the first month they charge you monthly, if you don't cancel.
If that wasn't it, then it's a different card. (For post completeness, Amex also offer an upgraded product for $24.99 if you want more than 2 reports a month, and other services.)
Log in to your American Express account. At the bottom, look under "Protection Services" -> "Credit Scores and Reports"
