Same thing happens in many Hiltons... Sound signal comes from the TV and volume can be controlled to some degree using TV remote. But speakers in the bathroom usually are much louder than TV speakers at the same TV volume level. Well, it's quite easy to locate thin wire connected to the sound output of TV (usually at the left side of TV) and disconnect it
Just remember to connect it back before checking out.
