I would have to disagree with this statement.
Some people are natural organizers

( not me). For Example the
SAN do in
July 2001 had
PROGRAMS
a tour of the control tower
guide dog demonstrations
lectures from airport personnel
dinner Fri nite
dinner Sat nite
drinks and lunch at the airport to see the 777
arranged transportation for those without cars
games
gifts
nametags
banners to welcome us
All set up by a person
SanDiego1K who had
NEVER attended a DO. Well
Captain Mike was involved too
I think all of us who were there agree that this was a
FANTASTIC DO. Should it not have happened because the organizer had not attended one before?
