Start with Credit Karma to get your TransUnion score. I know some say it's not that accurate in regards to a Fico but I've found mine to always be about 50 points higher than my Fico's. At least you'll know if your score is 750+ you probably have a good chance at new cards. 3k spend for the Sapphire Preferred to get 50k. No spend on the Continental card to get 50k. Is your girl Japanese?
