The $559.60 price was the with tax price on united.com and the same price the agent told me when I made the reservation. The first email I got was when it was ticketed at $767.81 per ticket.

They've admitted the fare wasn't stored long enough, but they don't agree with me on the price. And they say there is no way to retrieve what I was originally quoted.

I just checked the reservation again, and now the fare code is blank, and the fare shows $603.35 base fare, no taxes, for a total of $603.35. Before I called earlier it showed $581.xx base, taxes added on, and a total of $603.35. What is going on?
