Like someone else said, you want to fly HNL-DFW-MIA and stopover.
Then fly MIA-SJO within the year so you get 2 trips out of one miles redemption.
Then what you want to do is to fly SJO-MIA and stopover and fly MIA-XXX.

If you have the miles, I recommend flying F on HNL trip on 767 for 30k miles.
My limit for coach flight is 3 hours so it's a no brainer for me.
Also, I recommend you familiarize yourself with the stopover rules on major airlines.
