I personally find the search function not that easy to use, and if you have a slow connection, it can be downright impossible especially if you do not know the exact forum to search or how far back to go. Even when I know I've seen something previously, I still have difficulty remembering exactly which words to use so I don't get a lot of extraneous material. I personally don't mind some old topics coming up again. On the other hand, I do appreciate it when an "old-timer" who knows that there was a previous thread, takes the time to post a link back to it. (Thanks many times, doc!)
