There are two different rows.

Discounts - Delta customers

Discounts - other airlines

As a Delta Platinum I would look at the row that is labelled "Delta Customers"

For each column:
International(Long-haul)
Transcontinental
Domestic
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

It states:
FREE for Diamond/ Platinum Medallion, and Y, B & M fares

Your quote is from the "Discounts - other airline" column.

What is interesting about that column is that it clearly states for the Delta International - Longhaul:

FREE for Flying Blue Platinum

And for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines:

FREE for Flying Blue Platinum

50% OFF for Flying Blue Gold and SkyTeam Elite Plus


The chart makes it clear... Delta EC is FREE for FB plats and that KLM EC is Free for Delta diamonds and plats

Honestly I don't understand how reading a chart is so difficult?!

Someone who is a Diamond or Plat medallion is a DELTA CUSTOMER and has to look at the row labeled "Discounts - Delta customers"
