I was stewing about this problem too until yesterday, when I got my final statement in the mail. I'm still peeved not to be able to access any of my account history, but there was one nice little gem to ease the pain.
On the final statement, there was a section at the bottom that listed my available Bank of America Cash Rewards balance. Although the direct deposit into my Schwab account had already posted, it looks like I got an additional 1% cash back - so 3% in total for my final statement balance. Not sure if this was because I had a handful of transactions that posted after October 31 and that confused their system or what. But check out
www.bankofamerica.com/cashrewards -- using your old FIA account number you should be able to see available rewards balance.
For me it was enough to cash out a $25 increment :-)
