Maldives certainly wins hands down although we did not think it was as good as previous visits when we went in July!
Samui and Bali I think is a personal taste thing, we loved the room and view in bali, the suite looking out over the ocean is stunning and private! We also enjoyed the fact there was a bit more going on that in Samui where it was very quiet although we had just come from 2 weeks in Maldives so probably ready for a bit more action as such!
We loved Breakfast in Bali as well just stunning although it was very good in Samui also! Guess we felt Samui didnt have a W vibe to it as much as Bali although it was February when we were in Samui so it could have changed since then as I know they were still having issues then! That all said we are back there in March next year so will be interesting to see how it has progressed and changed!
All the above said we enjoyed all the W retreats including Puerto Rico although that was let down by the dining options or lack off!
