Picking up anytime Saturday or returning Sunday evening seems to blow the rate up.

You can also shave the 0.75 miles fee off by calling in after your contract closes, if you're really looking to hypereconomize. I did it by accident last weekend -- assumed my US DM number would be in, given the rate code used & my Insider settings -- and then had to call Sunday afternoon. (FYI, that hit posted today, as expected.) My rez for this coming Sunday was originally <$16, but I went ahead & put my US DM number on it this week just to save the trouble of another phone call.
