Although the EU is roughly comparable in size, it seems to me that each country has a distinct Avis fleet, one that is negotiated and purchased locally. We could end up with a list of every make and model of European car currently on sale in Europe (see, for example, this, this, this and this) ... although then again, that seems sometimes to describe the North America fleet list quite well
