Northwest Airlines in cooporation with NATCO is now offering the Joy Ride Program. If you happen to be in Minneapolis, Los Angeles or Vancouver and have a burning desire to fly a 747-400 flight simulator, give NATCO a call. You get to pick out any airport in the world for your simulation (Kai Tak in Hong Kong would be my choice!) and you get to be in control for a take-off and landing while being accompanied by a licensed instructor. It's on a space-available basis since these are the same simulators used by NW pilots and the facility is open 24 hours a day so you're probably looking at a 3am appointment. What's the cost?
