At least before the recent inflation I was willing to do hard physical labor for $10/hr. After the 10-20% price increases in food and other necessities in the past year or two I would probably ask for at least that much extra now. Doesn't mean I'd get it though.

Based on a lot of belittling comments here about TSA wages, I'm guessing that many of you are fat cats who would see $10/hr as living in poverty. I find that pretty funny. I've lived in countries where people make $12/month (net) for working a full time job. The last country I lived in was much more wealthy though. The average wage was about $100/month (net). Although that was often for more than a 40 hour week. Some of you really need some perspective.
Just curious... What country do you live in now? I ask because, depending on what state in the U.S. you live, $10/hr. is very close to the poverty level...IMHO!
