I haven't flown CO in Y longhaul... but this year, I flew UA on ULH flights (ORD-HKG,PVG and IAD-DXB). The service/food/IFE was definitely crappy (I got you get what I paid for). But the seats to me didn't seem particularly harder than other Y seats.
