Right.

I remember when I was a kid and we had to drive 25 miles to get a McDonald's Happy Meal. Now there's 4-5 McDonald's between my childhood home and that McDonald's we went to (which I ended up managing 15 years later). Out of all the McDonald's out there, that one was one of the first 1000 in the world.

Today I'm about 3 minutes from my local one -- we're in a town of about 5000 people and we have a McDonald's, Burger King, Culvers, Jimmy John's, Subway, and Arby's all within a minute or two of the others.
