I went and took a look at the JW Phuket info and it does look fantastic!
One thing to note though is that the rooms themselves are quite affordable (based on a quick scan of spring 2012 rates & today's exchange rate, I was seeing prices as low as $135 a night). So if you're looking for "best bang for your points" you might want to focus on someplace else.
