Naturally, having a boarding pass does not mean you need be on THAT flight.

I had 3 boarding passes this morning SYD-MEL for 8.45am, 9.15am and 11.15 flights. And only took ONE flight.

You overlook the fact the SQ have a direct flight ex MEL that leaves for SIN in 30 minutes, leaving soon after midnight. Perhaps I will be on that? And the MEL First Class lounge is just soooooooooo nice. And that nice foooooooooooood. And of course all that nice Moêtttttttt .........

The Moderator of this Forum knows the real story as we had lunch here in SYD yesterday. He is sworn to secrecy for a day or two. And I happen to know he is literally stepping onto a SQ flight SYD-SIN as I type, so he will not be spilling the beans for a while.
