I have been on all 3 CX flights out of London and methinks the ONLY difference between "Dinner" and "Refreshment" is the speed of service -- Dinners tend to be drawn out full service, while as Refreshments are served quickly to allow passengers to retire earlier. If there is a course missing or the selection different, I have not noticed.
