BOAHA+HOAHA=HA from the left coast or interisland hopping, VA=use a partner (Aloha Bonaire! in my case). Other than Hilton, I haven't found any use for Hawaiian miles. BofA gave me a credit line where I could have gotten that card but I decided not worth it. OTOH VA miles can be used on CO, UA, and US and are more valuable on Hawaiian than Hawaiian miles (6K RT inter-island vs. 15K). Plus VA will likely join *A.
