Agreed -- one would be tipping if there were no diamond brekky benefit -- moreover, I don't see any 'harm' in putting in a tip that goes to the server (on top of any that is paid by the hotel), even it if ends up on my bill @ checkout! In some Andaz properties, -- a diamond is often not given a bill for brekky, as it is all 'included'! I agree that that it's not like we can 'demand' consistency on this issue! It is what it is, & I am thankful for the bennie!
