All the above. And interesting that they're picking at as carrion what they wouldn't bite on while Borders lived. But I guess we were no different if/as we went in for the deeper and deeper discounts. Alas, the way of life and death in this world.
BTW, talking with a friend who already wrote back to Mr. Lynch to tell him she was opting out, I said that, although I already have a B&N (gifted) membership, I'll hang in to see how this further plays out -- I've got more time to delete emails. (To digress a little further, I got faaar more Borders emails at the free level, and I think better discounts, than I ever do from B&N.)
