Accident: Air Canada A333 near Montreal on Sep 25th 2011, turbulence injures 9

An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GFUR performing flight AC-832 from Toronto,ON to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 257 people on board and further on to Brussels (Belgium), was descending through FL290 about 90nm southwest of Montreal on approach to Montreal when the aircraft flew through a zone of moderate turbulence lasting less than a minute. As result three passengers and 6 cabin crew received minor injuries. The aircraft continued to Montreal for a safe landing about 25 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported that the fasten seat belt sign was illuminated at the time of the turbulence. The injured 6 cabin crew were unable to resume duties after landing in Montreal.

The aircraft departed Montreal for Brussels with a delay of 105 minutes as a result.
