My opinion - Anchor Bar has great wings, but the place has almost become a cliche with all the publicity its' gotten. As another poster noted, there are a zillion places in the Buffalo area that serve great wings. We have a Wing Fest in Buffalo every year, and all the places showcase their goods - heavenly! And people
do come from near and far to join in.
OT - while you Buffalo guys are around, why don't we ask
where's a good place to get beef on weck? I expect there'll be a lot of crickets chirping.
I like Anderson's (and the custard's great, too) or Schwabl's. Charlie the Butcher has it's fans, too, but I find it hit or miss. I like Blackthorn on Seneca St. in south Buffalo, too.
