The funny thing about this is that it's CX that is actually paying AAdvantage for this promotion! Yet CX hawks their Asiamiles programme when you are on their flights..."Asiamiles forms are available on board.." always wants to make me jump up and ask "WHAT FOR?"
FYI - AAdvantage miles do not expire as long as there is some 'activity' every 3 years. Asiamiles do expire after 3 years.
