2 passengers on itinerary. far out from flight. PM + GM

PM's ticket had taxes/fees refunded
GM's ticket did not and still waiting

went to my itineraries, clicked on the itinerary, clicked cancel flights, clicked thru the next page and it was cancelled.

next day or two taxes/fees refunded for one ticket but not other.

With the help of a fellow FT'er we were able to find and fix a scenario where this was happening. The scenario that we found and fixed is this:
  • You would choose to change your flights from the "My Trips" page
  • You may or may not change your origin and destination and click on the button to search.
  • The page would sit there for a while on a wait page where the website says that it is searching for results.
  • Eventually you would get sent back to the flight search page where you enter in your search criteria and at the top there would be a message stating "We were unable to process your search request. Please try again".
  • It would be after getting this error that people would find that their itinerary had been cancelled.

If anyone runs into an issue where trying to change your flights on an Awards reservation cancels your itinerary, please bring it up in the thread with as much detail as you can. If it is needed I will send a PM to you to try and get any more specific details that are needed.
