Dear flyers,

I have a ticket, which was ISSUED on 16th of January 2002 by a travel agent. However, on this ticket, the FIRST outgoing segment was taken on 5th of Feb., 2002. I have a open return segment which I want to travel on 4th of Feb. 2003

At the time of purchasing this ticket, I was told that it is valid for 1 year, and I was lead to believe it means 4th of Feb. 2003. However, I called CX MPC line, and the representatives told me I can only travel to the date of issuance, making it on 15th of Jan. 2003

I'm not quite convinced by this, as I know MPC agents are not experts in ticketing issues. I don't want to be fooled, so does anybody know when my ticket is actually valid through? Is it 1 year from Issuance date?
