I rarely travel for business anymore except twice a year. I would never think of getting points/stay credits when I'm not paying out of my own pocket. It's not an "entitlement" thing but I just wonder why somebody who isn't paying anything would think they would get points/stay credit. One of the reasons event planners have a master bill is to make it easier for the attendees. Nobody needs to worry about paying, getting reimbursed, etc. It also allows the event planner to see exactly what has been charged/paid in one place.
