I have 85k miles, most of it from the Citi card prom.

However, I think CO/UA will fit my FF needs better so I don't anticipate trying to gain status or accumulating on AA.

That said, I could try to get another 15k and look for business awards to Europe or Asia/Oceania (probably more miles for the latter?).

Or just use the niles I have for hotels and whatever else they can be redeemed for.

Has anyone redeemed for hotels or is it an expensive use of miles?
