Resurrecting from the dead an old post on the same subject, rather than starting afresh!

I have added a single user to the ignore user list. I have saved it and restarted the browser and the machine. However threads started by this user still appear, albeit with the post from the user blanked.

Can threads started by a user be ignored entirely? If so, how?

I know I should have more calm, but this user starts about five new thread a day in one forum I frequent! So that I am getting whole pages of his threads, most of which I consider almost troll like and a waste of bandwidth since they are covered on lots of other threads. I think his stats are something like 170 posts of which 70 are new threads

I wonder if he is just trying to get his post count up so he can shove off to OMNI? @:-)
