Internet access at The Wing

found out some details about this the other day and thought some of you might be interested...

at The Wing they have a few laptops available for free, short-time use by passengers...just ask any of the staff or the service desk...what's more, you can ask them for a wireless LAN card together with the laptop...then you can have access to the Internet anywhere in the lounge, browse the Web, check emails, whatever you like, again, for free...and I think the speed is very good too...much better than a normal 56 kpbs modem connection...but, of course, I think you can only access the Internet and not any corporate intranet...

and, if you are one of the many business travelers who already have your laptop with you...you can still borrow a wireless LAN card from them (probably need to install the software as well though)...this is especially useful if you don't have Internet access numbers that you can use in Hong Kong...again, usage is free...

of course, these are in addition to the 4 desktops they already have (in the library section of The Wing), which are equipped with broadband Internet access already as well...
