Conversely, the Sofitel stay did result in Accor A-Points and a stay credit being granted (I'm a lowly base Accor member). I included my Accor number in the "comments" field; when I arrived to check-in and presented my Accor card, the clerk told me that the number was already attached to the reservation. ^
