what constitutes 12 mth limit??
hey
i cant believe theres a website for this! all this time ive been relying on useless travel agents that dont know there fares and i could have found this! awesome!!!
anyway enough rambling; my girlfriend is on a 'one world 4 continents' and trying to leave europe to get her back to sydney by 28th December.
Heres the deal, we left sydney at 4.15pm on Sat 28th December 02. she wants to spend xmas day 03 (and the following day) here in europe and fly out on 27/12/03 to arrive home on 29/12/03 because flying LAX-SYD you lose a day. she reckons that AS LONG AS YOU BOARD THE LAST FLIGHT within 12 months you are within the rules. is this true?
the flight im talking about is QF108 11.45pm from LAX on 27/12/03 arriving sydney 9.15am 29/12/03. if arriving home on this day is not an option - would it be possible to leave LAX on 26/12/03 and arrive on the 28th dec (but before 4.15pm).
also, how hard is it to extend BEYOND the 12 months (say to 15 or 18mths). we booked through flight centre in sydney (if that makes a difference?). we are happy to pay any fee to do this if necessary.
I hope you guys can help! ill be very greatful.
