I was caught in the same situation as FTowfan (see above post). Checking wouldn't have helped at the rules changed - and the change wasn't publicised anywhere. Similar topic being discussed in the AS forum as BA apparently didn't give any advance warning about reducing discount economy earning percentage until after it happened.
And hey, it's BA we're talking about. Not the most-advanced carrier, at least on the web.
