Three dumb questions:

(1) If I am in the middle of a RTW (starting in the US, and currently in HKG), can I freely travel by buying RTs to all over the place (even back the country and city of origin), return to HKG, and then "continue" my journey? Sounds like nesting to me, but would like to confirm/deny.

(2) Is it possible to "skip" segments, by reissuing the ticket not to include certain segments once the trip has begun?

(3) I know RTW tickets have a one-year expiration limit. Is this from date of issue, or from date of first travel (i.e. the first international leg)?
