Since we can be certain of the Galaxy S II's specs, with its excellent screen and processing power, I would say it is the superior choice if you intend to buy soon. I believe it to be an excellent phone. I have never used Android, but I have never heard any serious complaints. Your carrier will be the deciding factor. If you want to use Verizon then you can forget the S II, as they will not be introducing it on the network. Your choices for Verizon would be to either wait for the iPhone 5, or wait for a device with specs similar to the S II, such as the Nexus Prime. If you have Sprint, T Mobile, or AT&T then the S II would be my choice.
