Even better, I hope- the upper limit for Oneworld awards through QF is 35,000 miles according to rule 10.4.2 on the web site, and both the T&C and the award chart in the booklet (the 30,000-mile is listed on the award chart on the "new" web site).

As, I've posted elsewhere, the QF RTW is a great deal relative to award travel to Australia from JFK or LHR (among other cities), IMHO.

Reason being- JFK or LHR to Australia in F is 275,000 points plus 10,000 points for stopovers. The RTW for 35,000 miles of travel is 300,000 points with 5 stopovers included, as you note.
