Nah, my TA picked Qantas to ticket an OWE using the (perhaps incorrect) reason that the "first intercontinental" carrier had to do that. I asked here and a couple of people assured me that QF had a great rtw and/or rate desk.

I think not!

It's been at least a couple of weeks; some sign of action, but each hint at progress comes with some significant error that seems to start the process over again. So I'm NOT a happy Qantas camper. I hope the good folks who assured me that their first-class 744's had flat beds and at least half-way decent service weren't similarly overly-optimistic.
