And this concerns me. I've completely sworn off of DL (ASA) out of AEX even non-stop to ATL. I'll fly CO instead. Twice ASA has cancelled a flight to ATL from AEX only minutes after the CO flight left, stranding a couple of dozen travellers each time who could have connected through IAH with CO if given the chance since capacity was available. I was on both flights that were cancelled. My work colleagues have similar stories with ASA out of AEX.

Interesting.....I try to stay off of ASA out of LFT as well as we have similar horror stories here. In fact, I'll take AA Eagle to DFW instead of ASA nonstop to ATL if I'm not flying on my first choice, being ExpressJet LFT-IAH, with regard to connecting service.
I think the lack of competition engendered by the SkyWest/ASA/ExpressJet combination will continue to make life interesting for those of us who live in and travel from smaller cities that do not have mainline service......
