According to this routing you only have one transcon. SEA - MIA the others do not count as you are transiting in the midwest. Even though your JFK-SYD flight stops in LAX you are probably transiting hence it does not count. The reason I mentioned this is because last week I called AA twice to check on the rule change and both times they said no it has not changed and only one transcon is allowed.

Am I interpreting this correctly?
