Re: the one transcontinental rule, I can't confirm this, but that doesn't mean it's not true. The rules from N*/OW EXPLORER I have posted on the Unofficial
oneworld Info Desk are dated 25Jun2001 (the date is listed on the left of the last line of the star file), so
if there have been any changes, they are very recent indeed.
Re: the DONE* fare, I can't remember who posted it or how the person phrased it, but a few months back there was someone who posted on the AA forum about buying a supposedly "business class" OWE but ending up in coach for the domestic segments... in fact I can't remember if it was more a complaint about this problem of not letting him/her into A-class on 2-class planes on a DONE* or more a complaint about capacity controls.
