So, my traveling companion and I will both be 100Kers sometime this year. Given the proposed changes in the UA FF program I am seriously considering switching to Asiana for easier *G qualification.

Now, as I understand it, if I use my own SWU I have to have the miles credited to my OP account. If my traveling companion uses his SWUs to upgrade me, do I have to have my miles credited to my OP account or can I credit them to my new Asiana account? And conversely, can I upgrade my traveling companion and have his miles credited to Asiana?
