If you truly want something different a safari is a great (and memorable!) way to go! Especially during your time frame when animal viewing will be at its best. There are some wonderful private camps and reserves in and around Kruger. Sabi Sands is a beautiful reserve and has some very romantic choices for lodging.

Safaris are nice because you can do as much/little as you wish. The camps I've been to have been ai.
