if its within their control like damaged baggage, flight delay or cancellation, or an employee overcharged something that made u incur an additional $122, then i can see where you are coming from.
but if you had money stolen in the process which goes from ground crew to baggage crew to ground crew / customs, i dont know how you can blame AC for all this and demand compensation
Contrary to what others say AC cares less, they have been good at compensating damaged baggage and wrongly charged fees and such.
This is almost like an analogy that "I was late and missed a very important meeting and deal signing for a multi million dollar contract, do I sue/complain to demand compensation from:
(a) my car manufacturer because the car drives slow (despite me using their brands for the last 30 years),
(b) demand Ministry of Transportation (through my MPP/MLA) because they failed to expand their highways over the years to accommodate extra traffic and I paid my taxes in full/all honesty
Have you contemplated in filing a loss/damage claim with your credit card travel insurance? I mean, afterall for them to take $122 off your bag they must have done something like cut the lock.
