Perhaps I am feeling more zen-like because I am starting a vacation week but... It does sound like this incident is the proverbial " last straw" and is the culmination of various other nagging frustrations.

That being said, life is too short. Far too short to be wasting time fighting with AC or AE or whomever... Send the letter, make one's choice and move on. No need to be "angry" with a corporate entity that may or may not care about your business. Save your emotion for people who matter !

So to the OP's question - what is $122 actually worth ? I would say - not worth losing sleep over...

Should you keep flying AC ? Do whatever fits your schedule and comfort preference. With the amount of flying you do, you should at least be comfortable whilst traveling. I wouldn't go out of my way to either fly them nor avoid them.... Just my 2 pennies...
